📌 Set Advanced Planning for Material Master (APO PP/DS) in S/4HANA

To use PP/DS (Advanced Planning) in S/4HANA, the material must be enabled for advanced planning in the Material Master.

🔹 Steps

1️⃣ Open Material Master
Transaction: MM02

2️⃣ Go to Advanced Planning View

3️⃣ Activate the field:
✔ Advanced Planning = Active

4️⃣ Maintain required planning parameters such as:

• PP/DS Planning Procedure
• Heuristic
• Planning Horizon

5️⃣ Ensure required master data exists:

• BOM
• Routing
• Production Version
• Work Center / Resource

6️⃣ Create PDS (Production Data Structure)
Transaction: /SAPAPO/CURTO_CREATE

7️⃣ Run planning and check results using:

• /SAPAPO/RRP3 – Product View
• /SAPAPO/CDPS0 – Planning Board
